The Home of the Golden Age Carter Hall

Where did Hawkman live during the Golden Age? He is described as a wealthy man living in New York. In Flash Comics No. 3 (March 1940), Hawkman rescues a group of men from an evil scientist and tells them to go to his home where Shiera will be waiting for them. In one panel, we see them getting into a taxi and giving the driver the address: 20 Hudson Terrace.

I was curious, so I thought I'd check it out.
The very first search gave me my answer; 20 Hudson Terrace, Sleepy Hollow, New York. There were other places with the same address, but this one checked out the best.

It's a two-story brick home with a balcony overlooking the Hudson River. It appears to have recently been on sale for about $900,000. $937,100. It was built in 1923, and it has 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, and 3,108 Square Feet. Here are some more pictures of the place.

This looks like the perfect house for Carter Hall in getting to New York and also flying off as Hawkman! I wonder why Gardner Fox put this address in the comic, but this could have been of the place he was thinking of.
