In Celebration of Action Comics No. 1000

The comic that started it all, Action Comics No. 1 was released on May 3, 1938. In the 80 years and 1000 issues of Action Comics,  Hawkman and Hawkwoman appeared with Superman on the cover of Action Comics No. 588. The comic was released on February 26, 1987. The cover was inked by John Byrne and colored by Tom Ziuko. Earlier this year, I was given the opportunity to purchase the original cover from Tom Ziuko himself.
